Mother's day

Mother's day is approaching soon...
When I let my mother see the other box I made, she immediately asked if I could make one for her (oké, she practically demanded one), so I started crafting, since I had one box left.
I don't know for what she is going to use it, but I hope she will like it :)

This box is great for the 3D-challenge over at 'A spoon full of sugar'.
You can win a beautiful stamp and you can take a glance at all the wonderfull creations, because they are using InLink (I love this more than Mr. Linky where just the name appears).
Go check it out!

Materials:
Stamp: Whiff of joy
Papers: MME - Laundry Line
Flowers: Prima's, e-line, rose buds (?) and some leafs, I think they are Prima's as well
Charms: Whiff of joy
Some buttons

Magnolia sweet

I really like these papers from MME, they are so versatile! And I'm really into pink these days. I bought this wonderfull stamp and thought this paper would be perfect. I also got some yummy scrap goods from My Whiff of Joy (my favourites!).
I also did some paper piecing again, because I love the effect it has on this stamp!

With this challenge I can enter the 'anything goes' challenge from the Magnolia challenge blog.
Man, I would LOOOOOVE to win that prize! I probably would need a bigger room then, because I can't store so much yummy stuff!!!

I also used a sketch from 'Sketch Saturday'. I really like how much different things there can be made with just one sketch. No card is the same! Go check out the wonderful creations of the DT over there!

Materials:
Stamp: Magnolia
Paper: MME - laundry line (pink)
Flowers: Prima's and ... ?
Charm and headpins: Whiff of joy
Extra's: pearls, splitpens and leafs

Happy birthday!

My dad is celebrating his fifthiest birthday. On this occasion I made a birthday card fit for him. I used every party mouse from Whiff of Joy that I could imagine that was perfect for this.
I used a tutorial from the weblog of Whiff of Joy, a three window card or how do you call it :)
With this challenge I can enter the blog 'A spoon full of sugar' where the theme is 'Happy birthday'!
The card stands proudly in the living room right now :)

Crafting supplies:
Paper: Some MME, some things from a cardstock I really can't remember the name :)
Stamps: Henry Mouse from Whiff of Joy
Extra: ribbon to hold the card together and cardstock numbers

My little project

My newest project... a new jewelery box! I was a bit tired of my old one and I thought it didn't have a good structure. It was a nice project but I'm NEVER doing this again. LOL. It took me two complete days to finish it!!
First I took the wrong drawer-openers, so I couldn't get the drawers open. I had to redo the whole thing again with splitpens. What an assignment!!!
Then the drawers on top of it are a bit too big, but I really needed them for some earrings that wouldn't fit in the little boxes.
And at last I made some sort of easel thinghy to make everything stand straight.
Ow well, at least I managed to do something else than a card :)
And I've used a new Magnolia stamp and the technique of paper piecing again. Man, what is this stamp great to use paper piecing on!! This was my favourite bit of it all.
So, I hope you like it. Me... I have a new jewelry box that finally separates my earrings (can you believe that I still had to put two or three pieces of earrings at one box. Paper addict? Try earring-addict! LOL).
Ow ow, and I tried out a tutorial to make my own flower. You like? I do!! I LOVE IT!
Thanks for looking!

With this project, I can cover two challenges:
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: Sugar and spice and everything nice (for the second time allready)
Just Magnolia: Fold it!

I keep hearing on the challenges to turn of the word verification. I have absolutely no idea if this is the case on my blog. Can somebody tell me if you have to do this when you leave a comment? (yeah, I'm not a computerwiz... :( )

Materials:
Stamp: Magnolia
Colours: Paper piecing and Copics
Flowers: home-made and Prima Flowers (Got dots) and e-lines I think
Paper: MME, Laundry Line, some DCMV
Extra: some metal charm I got for free, and some brads

Double Dutch - A sketch

And here it is... Another card for another challenge. I'm still hoping to win one of them one day... Ow well, keep creating. I've got a whole lifetime in front of me :)

This one is for the Double Dutch Challenge. It was a hard one. You had to follow a sketch (which I loved) and it HAD to be a ROUND card. I'm not a huge fan of round cards, but now that I've discovered easel cards... It's great to use another shape. So... Mission accomplished :-)

The card is a bit small... I putted everything together to find out that no magnolia stamp would fit. But have no fear... Whiff of joy is here! If you place an order over €50, you get a free unique stamp. Was I glad that I've got this one. It suits my card so well.

A girly girly pic of my roses and pearls. I love those little rose buds!

Thanks for visiting!

Materials:
Stamp: whiff of joy
Paper: MME, cardstock, DCMV
Flowers: stash, e-line
Extra: pearls from my stash
Colours: Copics

Sugar and spice and everything nice!

I got so inspired by the creation of Barb (click --> here <-- for her blog) over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge that I decided to alter a box too. That's why the DT is there for right, to make you get inspired? :)

Here are some close-ups from the box as I am very proud of my flowers and pearls!

Here you can see the box in it's original shape. Next to it is the box in it's altered shape. I am soooo happy with the way it turned out! Normally altering things isn't really my thing, but I really had to give it a go after seeing the wonderfull creations of the DT. It turned out a little bit vintage. I always try that look, but it always fails. Now I didn't try and it turned out great. What an irony!

With this challenge, I'm entering the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 'Sugar and spice and everything nice!'. It's a challenge to create something especially for girls. I don't know yet what I'm going to do with the box, but I allready know that is only for girls . LOL

Materials:
Stamp: Magnolia
Papers: laundry line from My Mind's Eye
Flowers: prima's, e-line,... some from Action LOL
Ribbon: Also Action, 1 euro for 5 ribbons (all 1.5 metres). What a bargain!
Colour: Copic Markers
Extra's: some pearls from my stash
