Whiff of joy

I love the whiff of joy stamps. And now, Katharina is hosting a guest designer spot. I thought, what the heck, why not? Go to her website to check out the details. You needed to follow the recipe of: - one button - one ribbon - two designer papers - one cardstock With this challenge, I decided to give a go at an easel card. I'm sooo gonna make these things again. They are so much fun!

It's a bit hard to see, but I also used the glazing technique from the Wiff of Joy tutorial blog. What was the result surprising! I loved to see the embossing powder melt away under my heat tool. mmmmm. Hehe.
I couldn't have enough of it, so embossed the text stamp as well.

Baby It's cold outside!

Bij Double Dutch is er het thema: BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE. Yeah baby! Goed thema voor deze tijd van het jaar. Inspiratie genoeg om TWEE kaartjes te maken in dit thema. Geladen met een nieuwe lichting Whiff of Joy stempels, nieuw scrappapier en een goed humeur slaagde ik er in geen tijd in om deze kaartjes te maken. You like :)

At Double Dutch they have the next theme challenge: BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE. Yeah baby! Nice theme to fit this time of year. I had enough inspiration to make TWO cards for this theme. Packed with a new load of Whiff of joy stamps, new scrapbook paper and a great mood I succeeded to make these cards in no time. You like :)

I'm on a roll

At Stamptacular Sunday the challenge is to make a card with only shades of blue and white.
Mine is quite simple, but I loooooove the outcome.
I just love playing with shades of blue. It's sooooo my colour. LOL
Mind the flowers on the right upper side :)

Een nieuwe challenge op de website van Stamptacular Sunday waar je alleen maar tinten van blauw en wit mag gebruiken op je kaartje.
Mijn kaart is vrij simpel, maar ik vind m zoooo geslaagd.
Ik hou ervan om met blauw te spelen (aangezien het mijn lievelingskleur is). LOL.
Let ook eventjes op de bloem op de rechterbovenzijde :)

Winter Wonderland

Hey!

Eindelijk nog eens een berichtje van me!
Bij Winter Wonderland doen ze voor de eerste maal een Blog Hop.
Het thema is: rood met wit en candy canes.
Ideaal!
Eerste keer ook dat ik mijn stempel inkleur met Copic Markers. De boodschap is: oefenen, oefenen, oefenen!
Het is een simpel kaartje, maar ik ben er toch tevreden over!
De binnenkant is gemaakt door gebruik te maken van mijn nestabillities.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge

Voor de challenge van Truly Scrumptious is het de bedoeling dat je iets anders dan een kaart maakt. Omdat ik altijd de perfecte juwelendoos zocht, maar nooit vond, besloot ik om er zelf eentje te maken.

For the challenge of Truly Scruptious we were challenged (otherwise it wouldn't be a challenge, now would it) to make something different than a card. Because I was always looking for the perfect jewelrybox, but never could find it, I decided to make one myself.

Just birthday and christmas cards

Eindelijk!!! Dit kaartje ligt al een week te wachten om ingescand te worden. Het was gewoon zo warm dat ik er zoooo geen zin in had. Haha!
Ik heb het gemaakt voor de challenge blog 'Just Christmas and birthday cards', waar er een (cirkel)schets moest gevolgd worden.
Het lijkt gemakkelijk en hoewel ik een cirkelsnijder heb, was het toch niet zo gemakkelijk om al die cirkels mooi te laten kloppen!
Ik scan hem nu toch maar in, voor de wedstrijd over is :)


Finally!!! This card was lying at my desk waiting to get scanned almost a week now. It's been such hot weather lately that I reaaaally didn't feel like doing it. LOL.
I made this card for the challenge blog 'Just Christmas and birthday cards', where there's a (circle)sketch that had to be followed.
Allthough it looks really easy and I'm the proud owner of a circle cutter, it wasn't that easy to match all those circles making it looking complete.
I'm scanning it in now and putting it to my blog, before the competition is closed :)

Blue Winter Wishes

Dit kaartje maakte ik voor de blog 'Winter Wonderland'. Het thema is: 'blue and every shade of it'. Hoewel ik de meeste kerstkaartjes in de traditionele kleuren groen en rood maakte, bevalt blauw me veel beter. Om het kaartje nog een beetje op te vrolijken, kleurde ik de hoed van de kerstman in met Stickles en gaf ik een beetje 'bling' aan de knopen.
Omdat ik tegenwoordig helemaal verslaafd ben aan het versieren van de binnenkant en ik nog een hoop 'scraps' over had, was er geen reden om me tegen te houden.
Tegelijkertijd maakte ik nog een tweede (blauwe) kaartje, maar dat ben ik nog aan het afwerken. Foto's volgen nog.

This is the card I made for 'Winter Wonderland'. The theme is: 'blue and every shade of it'. Allthough I made the most of my Christmas cards in the colours green and red, I like the colour blue so much more (maybe because it's my favourite colour hehe). To cheer things up, I coloured a piece of the head with Stickles and I added a little bit of 'bling' to the buttons.
Because I'm totally addicted to decorating the inside of my cards right now, and I had a whole bunch of scraps let, I couldn't be stopped.
At the same time I made another (blue) card, but I'm still finishing this. Pictures will be posted later on.

SuRpRiSe!

Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor de verjaardag van mn moeder (vandaag!!). Omdat ik het heb afgegeven, kan ik het nu veilig op mn blog zetten.
Als je de kaart opendoet (tweede foto), komt er een mini-envelopje tevoorschijn waarin je een verborgen boodschap kan steken.

This is the card I made for my mother's birthday (which is today!!). Because she has it nog, it safe for me to put it on my blog.
When you open the card (second picture), a mini-enveloppe appears where I've putted a hidden message.

Let's celebrate

Pfieuw!! Deze kaart heeft me vier uur of zo gekost om te maken. Ik was er mee bezig, maar moest toen gaan fitnessen. Toen ik terugkwam, was ik helemaal uit mijn ritme! Ik wou de kaart laten liggen tot morgen, maar besefte toen dat het de laatste dag is dat ik de kaart kan inleveren voor 'A Spoon Full of Sugar'. Ik ben toch enorm blij met het resultaat. Hard werk wordt beloond. LOL
Voor de zekerheid... De eerste foto is de voorkant van de kaart. Als je de kaart opent, komt de binnenkant tevoorschijn (tweede foto). De kaart paste juist op de scanner, gelukkig :)

Pfieuw!! This card took me like four or what hours to make!! I was working on it, but then I had to leave for my fitness. When I got back, I totally lost my rythm. I wanted to leave the card for tomorrow, but then I realised that this is the last day that I can enter it for 'A Spoon Full of Sugar'. I'm so pleased with the result. Hard work pays! LOL

boekenlegger

Hoewel de kleuren een beetje flets lijken en het scheef staat (wat is er mis met mijn scanner??) heb ik een boekenlegger gemaakt volgens de schets van Friday Sketchers. Beetje jammer dat ie er niet helemaal in te herkennen is. Ik heb ein-de-lijk mijn papier van 'Once Upon A Time' gebruikt *vette knipoog naar Sofie*. Eerst dacht ik dat het niets ging worden, maar eens ik de embellisments had geplaatst, viel alles mooi op z'n plaats.

Although the colours are a bit off and it seems to stand a bit croocked (what the hell is wrong with my scanner??) I made a thingie to put between your books, following the sketch from Friday Sketchers. It's a bit of a shame that - by the bad scanning - you can't see it entirily in it. The good news is that I FINALLY used my paper from 'Once Upon A Time' * big wink to Sofie*. First I thought it was going to be nothing, but once I putted the embellishments on, everything came to it's place.

huwelijksverjaardag

Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor mijn ouders die 25 jaar getrouwd zijn *applaus*. Ik had het de avond ervoor gemaakt, dus moest even wachten voor ik het kon inscannen. Ik vind het wel een beetje jammer van het dubbelzijdige papier dat ik er niets originelers mee kon verzinnen, maar ik vind het papier gewoon zoooo mooi!

This is the card I made for my parents who are married 25 years * applause *. I made it the night before, so I had to wait for a while before I could scan it. I think it's a bit of a shame that I couldn't do anything more original with the double-sided paper, but I just looooove the paper so much!

Woops

Dit kaartje heb ik al een tijdje liggen. Ik had het eigenlijk gemaakt voor Sketch Saturday (nog VOOR de schets er op stond, maar hij leek er zoooo veel op), maar was het zelfs vergeten in te scannen. Toen ik de site terug bekeek, had ik door dat ik het er nog niet had opgezet. Woopsie...

I had this card lying around for a while nog. I actually made it for Sketch Saturday (even BEFORE the sketch was on the site, but it ressembled it soooo much), but I forgot to scan it. When I looked back at the side, I figured out that I didn't put it on my blog. Woopsie...

NESTIES!!

Na dagen van kwijlen op de nestabilities, zette ik de stap om ze te kopen!! Hoewel ze een beetje kostelijk zijn, heb ik er zeker geen spijt van!!


After days of drooling at the nestabilities, I finally got the nerve to buy them!! Although they are a bit pricy, I definitally don't regret it!!

Jingle bells... Jingle bells..

Na een daguitstap naar Wijnegem Shopping Center kreeg ik van mijn moeder het leukste papier en hele leuke stempels in het kerstthema. Ookal is het nog lang geen kerst, je kan je voorraad nooit vroeg genoeg bij elkaar hebben. Toen ik thuis kwam, kreeg ik er weer helemaal zin in en dit is het resultaat.

After a day of shopping in Wijnegem Shopping Center I got the cutest paper from my mom, together with a lot of stamps in the Christmas theme. Even though Christmas is still far away, it's never too early to get your supplies together. When I got home, I immediately got started and this is the result!

Christmas in town

Nee, ik ben nog niet gek geworden. Ik weet dat ik de seizoenen allemaal een beetje door elkaar aan het gooien ben, kan je nooit vroeg genoeg beginnen aan je kerstkaartjes. En omdat het nog steeds lente is, een kerstkaartje in vrolijke lentekleurtjes.
De strook die rechts staat, heb ik zelf gestempeld.

No, I haven't gone mad ... yet. I know I'm mixing up the seasons, but you can never start early enough with your Christmas Cards. And because it is still spring, here's a Christmas card in cheerfull spring colours.

Hoewel Valentijn al lang gepasseerd is, is er altijd wel een gelegenheid om iemand te laten zien dat je van hem houdt.

Although Valentine was celebrated a long time ago, there's always an occasion to show someone that you love them.

Sketch saturday

Bij 'sketch saturday' moesten we ons weer aan een schets houden. Niet dat ik dat erg vind, ik hou van schetsen en deze was een zeer leuke! En de prijs die je kan winnen, wauw! Snel gaan kijken en meedoen, zou ik zo zeggen.

At 'sketch saturday' we had to keep ourselves to a sketch. Not that I mind, I like sketches and this one was a nice one! And the price that comes with it if you win, woooow! Go take a look fast en enter, if I may say so.

Op de site van 'A spoon full of sugar' weten ze dat Valentijn eraan komt. Daarom is het thema deze week 'een liefdeskaart maken'. Ik denk dat bij sommigen de lay-out wel doet denken aan een bepaalde schets :)

At the site from 'A spoon full of sugar' they know Valentines coming. That's way this week the theme is 'to make a lovecard'. I think the lay-out of the sketch rings a bell by a few people.

Sketch Saturday

Jaja, ik ben bezig geweest, maar gewoon ff geen zin gehad om alles op mijn blog te zetten. Bij 'Sketch Saturday' moesten we een schets volgen. Ik heb er ineens een kerstkaartje van gemaakt, zodat ik niet begin te panikeren in december. De schets is redelijk simpel, maar hij is zo veelzijdig. Ik ga hem zeker nog gebruiken!

Yes yes, I've been busy, but I was a bit too lazy to put everything on my blog. At 'Sketch Saturday' we had to follow a sketch. I made a Christmas card from it, so I don't start to panic in december (we all know the feeling). The sketch is a relatively easy one, but he's so versatile. I'm definitely using it again!
